Breaking in the new house...

When we were looking for houses here in Minnesota, my wife wanted a house with a pool. We had a swimming pool a long time ago when we were living in Westchester, Illinois. I remember enjoying having a pool, so we looked around and found a home in Eden Prairie with a pool in the backyard. Happy wife...Happy life!

A swimming pool is a handy thing to have for many reasons. After work swims, weekend pool parties for your kids, lazy weekends lounging by the water and a place to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. We have taken great advantage of the short amount of summertime left after arriving here in August.

As we wind down the summer and the time rapidly approaches, we find ourselves wishing for just 2 or 3 extra weekends of nice sunny weather. After all, we all know that Winter is Coming!
